MONTGOMERY, AL | February 13, 2019 – Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC recently closed on the sale of 7.8 acres on Eastchase Lane to a national developer with plans to build a senior living facility within Montgomery’s Eastchase development. As our population gets older, more and more provisions for this care will need to be made, and so this new construction is a positive sign. Eastchase is a 330-acre mixed use site located on a two-mile, tree lined parkway.

Work began on the senior living facility in early 2019 and is the first in Alabama for Virginia-based Smith/Packett. Many have praised this decision as the community will always need more help with getting elderly people the support they need. To be known as The Crossings, the facility will include separate areas for independent living, assisted living and memory care residents, with different designs for each.
