The base operation and support service company’s newest office facility will be built in Huntsville Alabama’s Redstone Gateway development, a leasing development that currently houses a variety of innovative tech, contract, and R&D companies with Class-A office spaces and accommodations.

HUNTSVILLE, AL  |  December 6, 2022 – A new hotel is coming to Redstone Gateway, the business park just outside the gates of Redstone Arsenal.

Redstone Gateway and its developer, Corporate Office Properties Trust, announced Tuesday a 150-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is under construction and planned to be completed by summer of 2023. It will join another Marriott hotel, the 120-room Towne Place Suites, at the office park.

“The demand for a second hotel became a priority as soon as the Towne Suites was built. We are pleased to be associated with Doradus Partners, a local company that is developing the Fairfield Inn and Suites project,” James Lomax, COPT’s Huntsville VP of Asset Management & Leasing, said in the announcement.

MONTGOMERY, AL | October 18, 2022 – Governor Kay Ivey announced today that Manna Capital Partners plans to invest nearly $600 million to construct an advanced beverage production and distribution complex in Montgomery.

Manna Capital Partners, a minority-owned business enterprise and investment firm, said its Montgomery “beverage park” will create 280 full-time jobs and will be owned and operated by its affiliate Manna Beverages & Ventures (MB&V).

HUNTSVILLE, AL  |  October 4, 2022 – Integration Innovation Inc., better known as i3, has moved into its Huntsville headquarters in Redstone Gateway.

Convenient to Redstone Arsenal Gate 9, the company said its location is central to the city’s technology hub and better accommodates its customer and employee growth. i3 became a 100% employee-owned company last year.

HUNTSVILLE, AL  |  September 14, 2022 – The Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) has announced the construction of a new 5-story, 131,000 square foot office building at Huntsville’s Redstone Gateway.

COPT, a privately traded real estate company, partnered with the Montgomery-based Jim Wilson & Associates (JWA) to undertake the further development of the area to meet the needs of contractors working for the Federal Government. The new building, which will be located at 8100 Rideout Road, will be next to the two-building campus of defense titan Northrop Grumman.
