MONTGOMERY, AL | NOV 12, 2007 – Jim Wilson & Associates, developers of The Shoppes at River Crossing, announce that retailers Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor Loft and Gymboree will open stores in the 750,000 square-foot, open-air lifestyle center located at Interstate 75 and Riverside Drive. Coldwater Creek is a new retailer to Macon and the central Georgia area. Opening its fifth location in Georgia, Coldwater Creek, the Sandpoint, Idaho retailer, specializes in women’s apparel, jewelry, accessories and gifts.

J. Jill and Talbots Slated to Open at The Shoppes at River Crossing

MONTGOMERY, AL | OCT 24, 2008 – The Shoppes at River Crossing, a 750,000 square foot regional, open-air, lifestyle center has signed ladies apparel stores, J. Jill and Talbots. In addition to these retailers, Bath & Body Works, Claire’s, Sunglass Hut and Victoria’s Secret will open locations at the center, scheduled to grand open March 19, 2008. J. Jill is a multi channel specialty retailer of women’s apparel, shoes and accessories. A wholly-owned subsidiary of Talbots, Inc., J. Jill will open their fourth location in Georgia and the first store outside the Atlanta area at The Shoppes at River Crossing. Based in Quincy, Mass. J. Jill operates 239 stores in 40 states and distributes 25 separate catalogs with an annual circulation of 70 million.

Barnes & Noble Signs Lease for Macon, GA Store

STORE WILL OPEN IN MARCH 2008

NEW YORK, NY | SEP 18, 2007–Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world’s largest bookseller, announced it has signed a lease agreement to open a new Barnes & Noble bookstore in Macon, Georgia. The bookstore, expected to open in March 2008, will be located in The Shoppes at River Crossing at Riverside Drive (US Highway 23), Sheraton Drive and Wesleyan Drive. The day prior to the opening of the new store, the existing Barnes & Noble at 265 Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard in Macon will close. The new store will stock close to 200,000 book, music, DVD and magazine titles and include a café serving Starbucks coffee.
