JWA Honors Long Tenured Associates

MONTGOMERY, AL  |  December 3, 2020 – In a tradition that began in 1985, each year in November as a part of its anniversary Thanksgiving luncheon, Jim Wilson and Associates takes the time to recognize and honor long tenured associates in the home office who have been with the company for at least ten years who have completed yet another five years of service. The 2020 service awards were especially unique. Of the four associates recognized two Vice Presidents passed the forty year milestone with JWA!

Alice Skinner Russell, who began her JWA career as a paralegal in July, 1980 and later completed her law degree, serves as the head of JWA’s legal department.

Woody Rush, only a short time out of Auburn University, began in February, 1980 as a leasing agent for the company’s retail projects, now leads JWA’s in house commercial leasing and real estate sales.

The company’s CFO is Ronnie Brown who was recognized for 15 years of service. Ronnie’s patience and perseverance on the financial front during his tenure has been an integral part of the company’s success as we navigated through numerous transactions, the Great Recession and more recently the challenges of the pandemic.

Of particular importance to everyone in the company is the fourth honoree, Melinda Knight, who has the “always on going task” as the payroll manager for JWA and its affiliated companies. Melinda celebrated 25 years with JWA!

Congratulations to all of the honorees!
