MONTGOMERY, AL | AUG 16, 2007–Old Navy will open a 15,504 square foot store at the EastChase Market Center announced Will Wilson, President of Jim Wilson & Associates, developers of the center. Old Navy joins Bed, Bath & Beyond, Circuit City, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michael’s, ULTA and Costco as tenants in the 513,688 square foot power center located on EastChase Parkway.
One of 4 brands that operate under the Gap Inc. name, Old Navy is a leading specialty retailer offering clothes, accessories and personal care products for men, women and children. Old Navy opened their first store in 1994 and now operates hundreds of stores in the United States and Canada and had net sales of $6.8 billion in 2006. “Old Navy has been one of the most requested stores for the EastChase development,” said Will Wilson. “We are pleased to be able to bring them to the EastChase Market Center.” Old Navy is expected to open in the spring of 2008. Costco is scheduled to open in the fall of 2007. EastChase Market Center is the third phase of EastChase, a 330-acre, master planned development adjacent to Interstate 85 between Taylor Road and Chantilly Parkway in east Montgomery. The project is developed by a partnership of Jim Wilson & Associates and Alfa Companies, two of Alabama’s finest real estate firms.
