MONTGOMERY, AL | JULY 25, 2007–Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC developers of the Carriage Crossing MarketPlace in Collierville announce two new retailers, Shoe Carnival and Sports Authority will open locations in the center. Joining these stores will be previously announced tenants Circuit City, Old Navy, Ross Dress for Less and S&K Men’s Stores. The 184,196 square foot power center located at Houston Levee and East Shelby Drive is scheduled to be completed in March 2008.

The Evansville, Ind. based company operates 268 Shoe Carnival stores in 24 states, with the Carriage Crossing MarketPlace location being the fourth store in the Memphis area. The nation’s preeminent full-line sporting goods chain, Sports Authority will open a 39,600 square foot store at Carriage Crossing MarketPlace. Headquartered in Englewood, Co., Sports Authority operates 415 stores in 45 states. The Carriage Crossing MarketPlace broke ground in May across from The Avenue Carriage Crossing. The 810,000 square foot Avenue lifestyle center opened in 2005 and was developed by Jim Wilson & Associates and Cousins Properties of Atlanta. Carriage Crossing MarketPlace is the second phase of Carriage Crossing, a 136 acre, master planned retail development located at the intersections of Houston Levee, Bill Morris Parkway and East Shelby Drive in Collierville, Tenn.
